Sifnos_61_edited.jpg

A total landscape redesign and garden construction of this beautiful multi level plot in the Cyclades. The design is developed with the architecture and position of the house, the immense altitude difference of the plot, the strong northerly winds, and the hot and dry climate of the Aegean in mind.

This state of the art project incorporates a pool, 3 lounge areas, outdoor dining for 20 people, an outdoor bar, covered parking, paths throughout the garden, many retaining drystone walls, and 1 acre worth of mediterranean planting, including a large vegetable garden.

A 2 Acre Sea View

This 2 acre plot of land in Sifnos, is settled on the top of a hill, with breathtaking views of the Aegean, but  subjected to very strong northernly winds.

The garden needed to be brought in close to the house, to soften the harsh stone building, but the landscape had to be extended beyond and draw attention to the big blue. The result is perfectly balanced garden, that grounds the house to its surroundings and makes the most of the beautiful view.

Family Summer House

A functional summer garden for a three generation family, The small pool is just enough to keep the kids entertained, while the adults keep an eye at the sunken lounge area.

Built on a steep cliff, the house is on many levels, and so are the various terraces and raised planting beds with trailing and climbing plants to help cover up the stone work.

Kensington Front Garden

Revamping an overgrown and unused front garden of a Kensington townhouse, by creating a light and welcoming entrance. The new central steps not only provide access to the lower ground entrance and bin store, bring the light into the basement as well.

Dry Mediterranean Garden

Steep level changes, strong winds, and an arid climate were the starting points of the project in this beautiful Cycladic site.

The design makes the most of the breath taking views, and uses the level changes cleverly to define the large space. The planting is carefully selected to withstand climate restraints, while dressing the land effortlessly.

The project includes 4 lounge areas, an outdoor kitchen, 2 dining areas, a pool, a vineyard, an olive grove and a home grown vegetable patch.

The 5th Room

Renovation of a gorgeous space to create the most functional and beautiful garden. The new owners of the property renovated the house at an impeccable high standard and the abandoned garden needed not only to match in quality but to function as an extension of the house, to be the 5th room.

The design blended seamlessly with the house and, even with size restrictions, managed to included an entertaining area, an outdoor kitchen, a morning coffee area, a Peloton room, and ample space for kids play and plants to grow

In adding more function to the space, we added more plants to bring colour and soften the hard landscape, and cleared the space around the mature trees to show them off.

The new design redefines the space and seamlessly combines aesthetics with functionality.

Suburban Revamp

This garden in a suburb of Athens was in need of a revamp following the construction work done inside the house. The garden was originally split into smaller areas, with multiple level changes, so the design involved a lot of reconfiguration, a terrace extension, and step redesign to connect the upper garden with new, much lower garden. The end result has two lounge areas, a dinning area, a play area, and an outdoor garage.
